Anyone have one?

I'm looking to find one to tune a CB antenna when I decide which one.

I'm looking at this one, and if anyone else has experience with setup and tuning, please let me know

An SWR meter? Those make you stupid! The school ham club, W0EEE, probably has a meter you could use. They have meetings on Thursdays.

Is this going to be a mobile setup? Check out http://k0bg.com. He's a ham, but he has a lot of good information that would apply to a cb antenna system as well. In particular the parts about positioning the antenna so that it has a proper counterpoise are important.

The best cb antenna are the $20 108" whips. They sell them at Radio Shack. Don't use springs from radioshack though. They are rust POS.

Welcome to my area of expertise. We (The W0EEE club) have a few. One is too large for comfort but we have a real nice bird wattmeter that can measure reflected power, which is all you need for tuning antennas. Pm me and I'll hook you up.
