Im taking a trip to KC and thought Id visit a Barnes and Noble. Since Michio Kaku hasn't come out with anything new, thought I would start on some Lovecraft. What are his best books?

Go to the Barnes & Noble at Zona Rosa. It is in North Kansas City but it is an awesome place!

The Tomb; The Lurking Fear; The Lurker at the Threshold; The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath

Those are all very good and all by Lovecraft.

So I take it you've read 'Beyond Einstein'?

Very good book, I own that and Hyperspace. Didn't really like Visions though. I like Kip S. Thorne too.

'Lurker at the Threshold' isn't authored by Lovecraft. Its good mythos written by a close friend of his.

From how I understood it it was done by Lovecraft and then was worked together and published through his friend August Derleth. You might be right, but I thought he still was counted as the author, and if you like Lovecrafts stuff the Lurker at the Threshold is a very good read.
