Technically, you are part of the quad. You will most likely eat at rayl. It's actually a pretty nice place.

Dude!! You are going to have SO much fun!

I was a resident of 10th and Pine last year. We named it "The Palace", for a very good reason too.

*catered breakfast
*free parking
*15x18 rooms, each with individual 3/4 baths
*internet connection, faster than UMRIT, and not controlled by them
*kickass RA (not included for Fall 2004)
*all at the regular Quad housing rate

You'll enjoy it. PM me with any questions.

The Palace is def. a deal and a half. I don't know who the RA is this year but Lisa Hartman rocks ass and I'm sure she did a good job last semester. They seemed to have a pretty tight knit community there too...which is always condusive to a lot of good times.

Are you one of the displaced souls who signed up for the Res College?

My suggestion...If the Res College isn't done by Stuco Free Day (at least), fight tooth and nail to stay in your current location. I don't see how they can feasibly move you all 3/4 of the way through a semester.

I'm willing to bet they'll do the transition over the holiday break. That's not based on any inside information, just plain logic.

Side note: check out the webcam. They're hurrying to finish the Res College brickwork so it will LOOK nice by the time school starts. So what if it's nothing more than a hollow shell.

You are all meat and cattle to them (Res Life). They will milk you until you can't take it anymore and then its off the the slaughter house or glue factory for you so that your flesh may be consumed. And when joyful praise is said of your efforts and body Res Life will reply, "who?".

And all this shall be yours, yea it has been destined, for Res Life, your all-knowing, all-loving, benevolent god knows what is best for you. And it shall be good (for them).

Welcome to UMR! Everybody if you have less than 50 on-campus or 60 total credit hours you're boned!
