Need to get my GF a rose or something, where in rolla can i either get single roses, or those little flower arrangements that aren't going to rape the wallet.

There is a flower store on Pine Street, right above the grotto and next to KMNR (across the street from the BE building, in the building with the St. Pat's mural on the side).

There are several floral shops, but frankly the best I have found for ease on wallet and effect is Wal-Mart unless you are looking for some hard to find color, etc.

There's another off 10th street that seemed to have some nice things...

The one that was mentioned on Pine St, above the Grotto is good. That's where I always get flowers and romantic junk like that. It's called Sunnywall Flowers. Their prices are pretty good, and they can deliver too. WalMart flowers usually last about a tenth as long as something you'd get from a florist. Plus, I'd be pissed if someone bought me cheap discount Walmart flowers.

Fuck the flowers. Get the bitch a shorter leash if you have to go off and be romantic. That shit doesn't fly in the real world, only in the movies.

Go to Aldies out by Kmart. They usually have really nice flower arrangements for just a couple bucks. They work well for a weekend GF visit.

I generally go to Something Special Florists on the corner of 7th and Rolla, across from the Top Hat. Good stuff.

There's SunnyWall, across the street from campus...
There's Blossom Basket, by the HighSchool of 10th street (next to Pam's Custard)
There's Something Special as mentioned above
There's Butterfly Forest off 72 by the pawn shop.
and Walmart
and Country Mart...

They're all over.

If you are getting roses do NOT go to Walmart. None of the roses I've ever bought from there ever bloomed. It is definitely worth the money to go to SunnyWall...unless she doesn't plan on putting the thing in water. It is always the thought that counts but it sure is nice to see the blooming thought for a week!
