I am having trouble in Mechanics of material and absolutely hate the book. I am looking for a solutions manual for the 5th edition of Riley's book. I learn by doing and seeing it done and Raney is not worth a shit for teaching, nice guy but bad teacher.

I've heard from several people that Raney doesn't teach that well in class, but if you talk to him one on one you can get a ton of help. Might want to find out his office hours and stop by.

Yeah, I have Raney from 1:00-1:50 MWF... He's not the greatest teacher, but he curves like a sonofabitch and will give you a whole shitload of help as long as you're willing to come to him for help.
