Is there any place on campus that you can borrow a video camera? Like slap down a deposit and maybe some fee?

Last I checked TJ front desk had digital cameras that could be rented. They may or may not have camera capabilities, I never checked, they were nice cameras though, so they should.

You can check them out from the library. Again there is the deposit thing and the cost of media, if you want to keep the images you shoot. They have both still and video cameras.

The TJ front desk camera shoots on those Mini-CDRs and often has trouble reading them. You have to hold the camera just the right way to get it to work. However, the still photographs can be quite nice. Here's an example:

The video it shoots is of MPG quality. The following shot of Ryan Van Booven jumping into the TJ pool is the highest resolution you can shoot with the camera.

Why would anyone want to watch that?

He's trying to make the point that the resolution is bad by using a bad or disturbing example of it. Quite effective.
