It's not that republicans or democrats are stupid...Its that all people are. Well not all people, in fact, don't you think some people are absolutely brilliant in their ability to get paid to tell us what we already know? Obviously people that make studies like this get a pretty good deal.

What's next, a study about why copy machines print black ink on white paper?

People by nature are biased and unaccepting of other's ideas no matter how rational they are....that is the very reasoning behind political parties. Damn human nature.

I think political parties are accepting of other's ideas. They just don't want other's ideas to become law because that means the special interests funding their career will stop donating.
