I thought that marionville was where the white squirrels were.

In fact, I am pretty sure.

However, in Council Bluffs, IA, there is a large population of black squirrels. Supposively, this is the first place that they were found in the US.

This isn't new. I remember a few years ago reading about squirrels in Washington DC that were attacking and eating each other.

Yeah, big deal, attacking and eating another squirrel. These ate a friggin DOG though! And the article said it was a pretty big dog. Plus, they worked as a pack.

Good find, I could have swore that I had always heard black were from Marionville. I know that there are some at my hometown, I have seen them personally. They could be different then those (I don't remember them being as shiney and dark), but there was always a couple of really fat ones on the golf course back home.

yeah these squirrles are getting a litte ballsy. Just the other day I was walking back from class when one squirrel litterally played chicken with me.

He just stood there in the middle of the sidewalk in my way. As I got closer I decided I didnt want my leg chewed so I walked around him. When I turned around he looked at me, then scampered off towards a tree.
