Perhaps not a valid question, maybe I'm missing an obvious joke, but does anyone else doubt the authenticity of that video? If I just watched the video w/out the commentary there's no way I'd think those guys were high. They just laughed, and one guy climbed a tree, which I can think of several legitamate reasons for.

They actually did those tests. The results were actually what was noted in the video. Whether this video is accurate...

But it wasn't exactly LSD. It was a gas-borne version called something else, intended to make enemy troops goofy enough to disarm without casualties.

It didn't work. For a while after the 60s, there were a bunch of soldiers in the US and England wandering around swatting imaginary spiders because of brain damage sustained in tests like these. Sad.
