Not sure how many Reboot fans there are here, but for whomever they may be, the traffic/support of reboot at their website (reboot.com) seems to have been enough to actually prompt a movie.

Here's a chunk of the e-mail announcing it:
Quote:
Welcome back (again) ReBoot fans...

It took a number of years, but with your impassioned voices and the tenacious clicks of your mice--you brought ReBoot back. The ReBoot Reborn campaign raised your beloved show from the dusty archives and brought it to the silicon screen for your comic viewing pleasure. And with a feature length animated ReBoot film on the horizon, what more could ReBoot fans want?

Just figured to pass it on. And for any of the fans that may read this, their website has a webcomic that they add another page/two pages to every monday at noon.

peace

just leave it alone, some things need to stay categorized under nostalgia. If it turns out well then fine, but somehow I doubt it.

nostalgia's all good and fine, but I'd be willing to sacrafice a little of that for a decent ending to the whole thing.

I still have "Wizards, Warriors, and a Word From Our Sponsor" on VHS. Not recorded off TV, the actual episode with cardboard sleeve and everything.

This is very relevant to my interests. Too bad Tony Jay (the guy who voiced Megabyte) died.

That is awesome. I didn't even know that they made those.

As for Megabyte, given what happened to the character in the webcomic, they should be able to get someone new in without too much trouble. Though that is a shame.

Update:
http://www.reboot.com is finished with the comic
Rainmaker's site got a revamp.
There is going to be a movie or some continuation and aside from the developer's thoughts at comicon (I think), then there's still this.
