One word: Unbelievable.

For those who didn't see, the game was in Detroit and there was about 40 seconds left in the game when Ben Wallace was fouled by Artest, not even that hard I might add. Wallace immediately made his way to Artest and shoved him as hard as possible, resulting in an immediate fight between the two teams. Then once it looked like things were getting somewhat resolved, Artest was laying on the announcer's table and a fan ran up and threw a water bottle at him. He quickly got up and chased down the fan and started punching him, which triggered an all out fight in the crowd between the Pacer team and fans all around. Random people were getting shoved on the ground, punches were being thrown everywhere, Pistons fans were also in the seats trying to defend their fans and pull people apart.

As if that wasn't enough, the Pacers players who weren't aggressive in the fighting were trying to get in the back and had to be assisted by 8-9 security guards each because the fans were throwing everything possible at them. Those who WERE aggresive (namely Artest, Jermaine O'Neal, and Stephen Jackson) received the bulk of the ice, beer, water, and whatever else as they were leaving, and all three of those players were trying to run back out as they were being guided to the back by guards and coaches.

Ben Wallace started the entire enslaught by retalliating on a foul that wasn't even flagrant, but I think the Pistons fans caused it to get completely out of hand by throwing things at the players (anyone who knows Artest knows that he's crazy and knew this could happen.)

Looks like Philadelphia fans are no longer the worst after all.

i can't believe that fan that got jacked in the face twice! But, he charged an NBA player, so he got what he deserved...

Has a link of that nights sportscenter in the main page.
Still can't believe this shit happened, so much worse than Tie Domi's incident in the penalty box a couple years ago.
