yea pretty much, now people may have something like a soul but not quite, but that's my own perspective cause I myself am of that religion, but is atheisism considered a religion or just a lifestyle?

Eh, it depends on the person as to whether or not atheisim is a religion. Some indeed treat their atheism as such. But, for many, saying that their lack of belief in a god is a religion would be the same as saying that your non-belief in a galactic gerbil living on Pluto is a religion.
Whether or not atheism is a religion is based the subtle difference between believing in no god and having a non-belief in god.
As far a lifestyle, I'd have to say no.

Instead of religion, a better word would be "philosophy." If you're going to put atheism into the realm that you're asking about, it is better to compare atheism to Buddhism rather than, say, Christianity. This is because Buddhism is constantly mistaken as a religion; however, having no diety, this is invalid--Buddhism is obviously a philosophy of life, as anyone who is familiar with Buddhism can tell you. This is the same deal with atheism. So pretty much you can be atheist and Buddhist at the same time.
