I'm in love. But does anyone know when it is getting extensions? I keep reading articles saying that they are coming, but not when. |

It's been given a go here and determined that it's pretty nice, but firefox is still better. |

I was a very avid firefox junkie for the longest time but chrome, despite its (current) lack of customization just runs faster for me. it's pretty nicely streamlined, small footprint... took some getting used to though. |

Here are my biggest complaints about Chrome:

They make the web so much easier to get around. It's stupid to not have them. I'd use Opera, but their gestures are limited and hard to customize. Plus they're slightly invisible. I like the trail mine has. |

chank you had problems with maximization, I frequently changed it between 19" WS and 20" WS (both 16:10) and between my 20" WS and 32" lcdtv (16:10 and 16:9 respectively) I think your system is just teh gay |

I don't have any monitors with different aspect ratios, but the only problems I've run into are a couple websites. BankofAmerica.com used to look horribly rendered on the main page but that seems to have changed. Joe's SS sometimes doesn't work when running scripts (when it has the 'processing...' in the top right corner) Other than that it seems to run great for me. I do miss extensions like foxmarks, but i'm sure those are soon to come and I love how quick it is. I can click all three browser's links I have on my desktop, and they come up in the order: Chrome, IE, Firefox. |

Try it w/o any extensions enable. |

I do, but he's comparing it to a browser that doesn't have extensions. So, I guess you have to decide if you like the speed or extensions better. But if he's doing a speed only test, running it w/o extensions is the way to go. |

I did it with a fresh, clean install of firefox. No extensions, no settings, no stored passwords, nothing. |

I like the trail mine has. Pretty much. I've got a huge set of shortcuts on my mouse gestures. Google Chrome is ok, but until it can surpass FF in usefulness, I won't switch to it. I've got 41 Add-ons in FF (only ~30 of them active) and it makes web browsing so much more awesome. |
