first, i'm a little computer-illiterate but i'd like to put a forum just like this one on my webpage. i went to phpbb.com, downloaded the package, and fallowed the instructions. I get stuck after the upploading part. I don't know how to change the permissions to be writable. can someone help guide me through this? thanks.

If you're using a handy FTP program like CuteFTP all you have to do is right click the file and choose properties or CHMOD. Then check the boxes for the proper permissions or enter the numeric value
