Does anyone have one? Does it come up as a regular USB HID or does it require fruity drivers?

There are drivers that exist, but it is a HID, if you're curious.

Nope, just got one and it is definately not a standard HID joystick device and requires fruity drivers. To add insult to injury, it requires a powered USB port. Oh, and the left and right triggers are both mapped to the Z axis such that full LT+RT results in the same value as 0 LT+RT.

Ahh well, at least I can play the various Geometry Wars clones as they were meant to be played :)

I think, but am not totally sure, that there are drivers out there that allow each trigger to be mapped to different axes.

yeah the MS drivers are pretty crappy. I use the XBCD 360 drivers and they work pretty nicely.
