I am using a macbook and i have currently OSX running on it....and i know how to install windows XP sp2....now what i need help is in installing a third operating system..i.e. Unbuntu......I am not able to create partions in the desired format using terminal...Can anybody help me in this?

When making the partition in OSX, just create it as HFS format. Or leave it unformatted, doesn't matter. The Ubuntu installer will allow you to format it to ext3 format

ok in the triple boot...I did the partition and when i tried to install XP..it gave me a hal.dll error!
