Are there other programs, like trillian, that supports AIM? I'm bored with trillian and want to try something new.

gaim and miranda im

http://gaim.sourceforge.net/

http://www.miranda-im.com

Edit: If you go with gaim, I wouldn't recommend the beta...it crashes a lot. The stable version is good. Miranda is simpler than gaim, but I've had memory leaks with it in the past. Their newest version may fix those issues. Not really sure.

Don't forget DeadAim. It adds a few cool features.

gaim and miranda are pretty simple IM clients. So, if you're looking for "fancier" features.. you're pretty much stuck with Trillian. At least there's a new version coming out soon. Hopefully the file sending/receiving features will be improved.

Some Cool screens of "Astra"
