Alright, so I typically run internet explorer without any problems. However, I seem to be having a problem with installing flash player 9. Whenever I come across a flash thing, it always tells me to download the newest version of flash, which I do. I even get the little "Flash 9 has been successfully installed" flash on the adobe site. But then I go back to view the flash thing, and it says I don't have the newest version. I even try opening it in the same window as the adobe site after I install it, and still nothing. I have firefox installed, so I try using that to view the flash and it works.
Is there some magic button I should pressin IE that will allow me to actually install flash player 9? I'm getting kind of frustrated with it.

I had the exact same problem with IE7. It would work at some sites but not others. Metacafe was the biggest one that wouldn't work and it would drive me crazy. I installed flash like 10 times. I even tried to install older versions.
Adventually I was telling a friend about it. He went to adobe's website and downloaded it. And it worked. So basically I have no clue why it worked for him and not us. Good luck.
IE > Opera > Firefox (Not really, but for some reason I don't like to use anything but IE)
