I'm looking to buy a quiet power supply, but not sure what to get. I've done some research, but I was wondering if anybody knew of any good ones from experience. I was planning on getting a Seasonic Super Tornado 300w, but then figured that my system is running at about 300w and didn't want to push it/buy a new ps if i upgrade. A 350w or more ps should be good. If anyone knows a way of finding out how much power a system uses, that would be good to know as well. I can't seem to find out anywhere how much my system uses or how big my power supply now is. I would also like the ps to be a quiet one with, perferably, a 120mm fan, running at around 30 decibels or less with a 300w or so load.

Power supply calculator

It's just an estimate, but that's probably what you were looking for. How much do you want to spend?

Thanks for the link. My recommended ps is around 335 watts, so 350 or better should be good like I thought.

I'm not sure how much I plan on spending. Less than $100 dollars, but I also plan on buying it off ebay so it depends on how good certain powersupplies are and how much they will cost.

I have two fortrons, one 300 and 350.
Both have 12cm fans and are quiet.
Any of the fsp models are quality.
