I recently upgraded my computer and as such had to reinstall windows and office. After setting up my exchange account, I realized that now it seems that I can only access it when I am connected in VPN. I know that you have or at least had to connect initially with VPN if you were off campus to resolve which mail server your account was on. Does anyone know if you now have to be connected through VPN to access it off campus at all times? I know as late as last month this wasn't the case.

It's possible they moved your mailbox to a different server. Mine has switched several times since I've been here.

If that is the case, you should just have to reconnect via VPN once so it can update the information and you should be good.

If not, I'm not sure offhand what to tell except to check all the settings again and maybe just redo your account.

Nope, just set it up last night on the new system, I was on fidnet before, but now as I am commuting from st louis, charter is my internet connection. If I do not go into VPN, it just repeats, Trying to connect for infinity.
