my dad's friend has a ram problem and question but i dont know how to help them. they're currently using 128mb of pc800, non-ecc rdram (i know this is too little and i'm assuming this is for a gateway/dell/hp/etc.) and were asking for suggestions on brands. they were also wondering if you can use 800mhz memory while the system suggests 400...? that's all i was told.

I dont know much about RD-RAM, however, you can use higher MHz memory, it will just slow down to whatever the motherboard supports
