Last semester I made the transistion to only using my laptop for everything at school and haven't even had my desktop hooked up, so may as well see what I can get for it.

I'm not planning to part it out, but to sell it as a unit. If someone is seriously interested, I can boot it up and verify components.

I made that post because $100 seems like an unacceptably low bid made in jest for that machine. I attempted to build on that humor, all the while hopefully subtly making you realize that selling a built machine on here for any amount close to the actual value. Apparently, at least 2 other people felt the same way. Is it a waste of time? Definitely. Is it humorous? It is to at least half of the regulars that frequent these forums.
I understand you are trying to make a sale. Good luck, but you'd most certainly get more for your effort by parting it out or finding another venue to use simultaneously.
P.S. Way to kill the funny.

My post was serious. The offers have to start somewhere if you don't give an amount.
Agreed, I thought it was low but I thought I would wait a couple days, to see if anyone bit, to say so. This thread is more or less a fishing expedition to see if someone would pay me a fair price. I'm not expecting to make money on a 4+ year old computer with a couple good components (PSU and video card are each worth at least ~$80 and ~$120-150 respectively), but I'm not going to give them away either.
Call me a buzzkill if you'd like but I consider this a fair place to buy and sell stuff in this community, I've gotten a lot of good deals and sold a fair amount of stuff at a fair price over the last four years here. Lame ass jokes make it a less and less legitimate place to do business every thread pm which it happens.
Please please PLEASE go read The Mad Scientists Club: The Cool Cavern. If my memory serves me right that is the story where underbidding first became such a fantastic idea to me. If it was in a previous story someone correct me please.
Had a successful bid.. that dropped out.. for $275. So a similar bid can take it.
I did a complete reinstall and wipe, I believe all the components are consistent with what I put in the OP. I'll throw in a copy of Win7 x86 (MSDNAA) since its installed now with all drivers functioning.
