I have a cat I'm looking to get rid of. I've had her about 8 months and got her from the Humane Society in STL, so she's definitely good as far as not having any diseases and being dewormed and fixed and current on shots and etc, etc.

She's a dilute calico (so rather than having typical Calico colors that pop, the colors are......diluted). She seems to have some Siamese in her too, as she has that certain shape of head and ice blue eyes.

Part of the reason I don't really want her anymore is because my roommate is pretty allergic to cats.
Most of the reason is because she just doesn't seem to like me, and I'd rather not keep trying to get her to like me while I'm picking up her poop and paying to feed her and whatnot. Just doesn't seem worth the effort, and I'd rather her go to a home where her owner will like her as much as she likes her owner.

Her name is Sascha, but she's a cat, so her name is kind of like trying to explain to Juggalo's why they might be mentally retarded, i.e. it doesn't amount to anything. My old roommates started calling her Porpoise when I wasn't around to undermine me anyways, so meh. She's 2 years old and lives in a house with another cat and a 90 lb dog. She definitely keeps to herself as far as other animals are concerned.

Honestly, I'd like to get SOME money for her just because she is in perfect health and fixed and everything. A cat at the humane society that is above a year old is going to run you around $80, so I'd like to get $40 or so (about enough to cover vet fees if I decide to take one of my girlfriend's sister's cat's newborn kittens). If interested, the quickest way to get ahold of me is email, bjwd3b@mst.edu
If you can't figure out how to work that go ahead and message me here but it may be a week or so before I reply. Pictures can be provided if needed.

Are they fixed, have current health procedures (shots, pills, etc.), and all that? That costs.

Between shots and getting my cat fixed, she's already cost me 120 in vet bills.

40 bucks is perfectly reasonable.

Agreed, thanks guys.

FYI, fixing alone will usually cost around $100. Vet fees for a checkup will be usually about $30. I think every time I've gone when my cat needed shots it ended up costing about $80 or so.

Holy crap! Where did you go to get your cat fixed? Getting my cats spaed or neutered (I have one of each) each costs only about $30 at the Rolla Animal Hospital. Overall, I have spent about what Veo spent for each of my cats, but a majority of that cost was the pet medication and shots that they needed as kittens. I agree that $40 is reasonable for a cat with all its meds already taken care of, especially since I have spent $200 more than that total getting both of my cats to that point.

Wherever you went, you were getting ripped off for pet care.

That was with some other "animal shelters." This one I got at the STL Humane Society so she came with all her current shots updated and fixing her was included in the cost.

As for pictures, they're not the best cause they're all from my phone, but I'll have to email them to you since they're on my comp.

Every once in a while, the Humane Society hands out coupons for free spade/neutering, but I'm not sure how frequent that is.

Good call. We need one of those. I know a few people that need to be fixed.
