My friend in the IT department says that laptop is worth probably $30. He'll buy the XP media center if it isn't locked to the laptop though.

Sorry KK, but your friend in IT threw a super lowball number.

Ebay has parts Inspiron 6000's selling for $100+ before shipping. Look at this one Busted screen and it sold for $125

I'll give you that his prices are crazy inflated for the rest of the stuff. $50 for a used remote? Come on. Office 2003 for $45?? Pretty sure ~$60 will get you '07 suite at the beginning of the school year.

Yeah, my friend over exaggerates things. He will seriously take the OS if it's not locked to the laptop though.

Well, I've only used the remote about twice, and I am including the USB receiver, and one extended receiver. All of that bran new can cost about $70, some third party sellers go way down, so I took a middle route. I thought I was being fair with the office since I was trying to make it cheaper than 2007 student edition, but looking into it more, I agree that I should take it down. If you think I should come down on the price for the office, I'll take it down to $35 (I'll edit the original post).

I only want to sell these items as a package. The price is negotiable. If it's too high, please just make me another offer.

BTW: I also work in IT. You'll recognize me if you see me ^_^.

I am a bit interested in buying. (Although can the price go a little more lower? I'm a cheapass.) How long is the battery life?

The laptop is sold. I have the rest of the stuff except the OS, and office. I forgot to mention that I also had a laptop cooling pad in there.
Altogether: Bag, Media Center kit, speakers, cooling pad. Altogether, $50, or less.
