what is the thing you like most about rolla or umr. ok people tell me this.would umr be a better place if it had more female population?

The fact that tuition is cheap (compartively), and that when i graduate i am all but guarnteed a well paying job.

And the amount of free multimedia i can get off of Seek.

two things for me:

1. When I graduate I will pretty much be gauranteed a well paying job that I will enjoy doing
2. It's close to home which means I can still see my girlfriend almost every weekend.

Now, how about we all post what we HATE about Rolla...

There's a ton of women in rolla, just not many of them.

ton...now is that the slang word for quantity or their weight? j/k. there are a few hot women in rolla, especially the HS. where i work we just got 2 new hostess and hot damn are they gorgeous.

back to the topic...i guess pro's and con's

pro: close to home (ft wood), cheap tuition, seek
cons: women on campus, food, dorms (but we're getting new ones), a mall, circuit city/best buy/comp usa/etc (any electronic store that i could go to ogle over the merchandise that i could never afford), close friends (all at MU or outta state), good places to go fishing between classes, umm...there's a start.

I'm gonna go totally OT, but how are the Little Piney, Mill and Spring creeks for trout? I tried Little Piney creek this weekend (Milldam access.....by Newburg) for some trout and had no luck...of course i think i forgot how to fish for them. Next time i go home i will have to bring back the fly rod....usually easier to catch them that way then with a spinning reel....

I think I scrapped the trout fishing idea unless I'm going somewhere they stock somewhat often. I'm still looking for a few decent access places to go fishing for bluegill and bass around here. I could drive 30 miles to leesburg and go to my uncles house, but that's a little far for just between classes.

Wow. First the 'women at UMR are like parking spaces' to 'going to UMR for women is like buying a 747 just for the peanuts, there are easier ways to get them', we now have that. Wow. Guess the time is making everyone funnier, or maybe me more slap happy. Surely, drinking 64fl oz's of Mott's apple juice won't make you THIS weird, would it?.....
