Best I can think of is we first let the Iraqi ruling counsil try him like a common criminal. Then if they don't kill him, and if they'll allow an extradition request we take him, and try him, too. Then if they allow us to keep him after the trial, we throw him in prison with the biggest, meanest criminals who have ever passed through the white halls of American jurisprudence, with only one request--make him survive as long as possible. Let them figure out what to do, I'm sure they're a lot more adept at inflicting pain than most civilians are.

I say we hook a car battery up to his nuts!
Then we could let people take turns shocking him, you know, have on lead always hooked up, then when people wanna shock him just touch the other lead to the other side of his nuts. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Fucker. His ass deserves it.
He'll probably just get a trial somewhere, maybe he'll be put to death, it depends on where the trial is.
But I still say before we do anything else, the car battery, the car battery!

In Yemen, Mohammed Abdel Qader Mohammadi, 50, said he was surprised Saddam didn't fight his capture. "I expected him to resist or commit suicide before falling into American hands. He disappointed a lot of us, he's a coward."
Yeah, he is a little yellow prick.

In downtown Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Ibrahim al-Khodir, 37, said Saddam should be put to death.
"This should have happened a long time ago," al-Khodir said. "Such a ruthless dictator and criminal should get the death penalty and he should be executed in front of the Iraqi people."

"With much happiness I learned about the arrest of Saddam Hussein," [German Chancellor Gerhard] Schroeder wrote in a letter to Bush released by the German government. "I congratulate you on this successful action."
It's a good thing Patton isn't around today, this guy would be next.
Quote:
In San Diego, Alan Zangana, a 48-year-old Kurd who fled Iraq in 1981, said the phone at his Chula Vista home started ringing early Sunday with people sharing the reports that Saddam had been captured.
"I have been waiting for this for the last 35 years," said Zangana, director of Kurdish Human Rights Watch in the San Diego suburb of El Cajon.
Saddam instituted a policy of genocide against the Kurds and Zangana said oppression in his oil-rich hometown of Kirkuk was severe.
"Nobody is going to be happy today like the Kurds," Zangana said. "He killed a lot of us."
Just in case you needed another reason for us to be over there. We [the military] are a volunteer force. My mother doesn't like the possibility of me going over there and risking my life, but it's a risk I'm willing to take to guarantee the safety and security of not just Democracy, but peace from tyranny. He was nothing but a godless, bloodthirsty, self-serving tyrant. He deserves anything we can give him.
Edit: fixed screwed up typed tags.

...What does him being godless have to do with anything?
Only the unreligious commit horrible atrocities?
Athiests are more likely to be mass murderers?

I say we let him go. That way we can spend hundreds of thousands more tax dollars trying to find again.

If you kill him he will be seen as a martyr by his followeres. NOT the result wanted at all.

Eh, do we care? The people who will idolize him as a martyr are people who already hate us and are motivated to move against us. There aren't too many people in the world, Arab or not, who think Sadam was a great guy. We aren't going to be inspiring too many new 'freedom fighters' regardless of what nasty thing happens to him.
If you execute him that means you are as unlawful and bloodhunger as he is. Let him rot in a prison cell, so he won't be a hero to the new generations. Someone on this thread said "who cares?", well I would care if those terrorists have suicide bombers and shit...
