Hey...I'm looking for Star Trek Enterprise Season 1 in .mpg format. I know these files are huge but I can't run .avi's reliably on my computer...freaking slow thing. I've seen a couple people with episodes 1x10 and later. I was able to get the first three from somebody, but apparently they've deleted all their episodes! If anybody has episodes 1x04-1x09 in mpg format, I'd love to get those from you.
In fact....if someone would be willing to .zip and put 2-3 episodes apiece on CD for me, I'd be able to compensate (i.e. pay) you for your time and discs. Slow internet connections suck..as do tiny hard drives.
Hmm. Sorry, nearly all of the files I have are avi. And since I don't have a tv or vcr, I get them off the network and don't have tapes. Do you know if there's any programs that would convert from avi to mpeg? I might be able to convert the files for you.

Hey, I've got all of them on an external hard drive (in mpg format). I'm working on making Enterprise DVDs, so I made sure I downloaded all of them before people started converting them to save space. Right now I'm in the process of converting all the audio to 48khz, and I haven't re-multiplexed all of them yet. But, if you want them, I can get my butt in gear and finish up. I'd be happy to bring my drive to campus if you have a laptop to load them to.

Seriously...Thanks a lot! I'm going to figure out where I can scrounge some hard disk space (I've got a nice, low-end computer--that's why I wanted the MPEGs in the first place.) Turns out I've been able to download them off of WinMX no problem--as long as I had 2 days per episode to wait.
If'n I do get the logistics figured out, I'll get in touch.
If you are making DVDs...How many episodes can you fit on one? I personally don't care about the quality as much, I figure it's all better than what I'd get on EP VCR tape. But if you're burning DVDs anyway...might you burn two? I'll have to talk to you on a later date about that. But thanks alot for all you offer.
