A lot of talk about how StuCo doesn't do anything has been circulating. I have one question. What is it that you think that StuCo should do?

(As i finish writing this I relized no one will actually answer the question, they'll most likely say what they don't want. Somehow morons think it's the same thing.)
People want StuCo to do things they don't want? I'm confused. If this is not what you meant to say, please clarify. Actually, I'm still confused, so please clarify anyway.

Stuco should make recommendations to the staff of UMR on student issues that are not addressed by other organizations.
For example:
Stuco agrees it is only fair that all home work and tests be returned and graded on or before the last day of class. We recommend that this be made University Policy.
The students think that it is time that it is in the best interest of the University to improve security on campus during alumni events citing that the alumni traditionally get more drunk and disorderly than the students.
Stuco agrees that the University should have a policy in place to deal with professors that take long (3 weeks or more) planed extended absences with out putting it in the syllabus, or possibly the course catalogue.
Stuco agrees that if a class has a mandatory field trip that it be in the course catalogue and syllabus.
Stuco agrees with Rolla City Government in that the campus would benefit if stuco had special meeting at Rolla city hall to discuss community interaction.
your first point is done. the friday before finals all work is to be graded and returned to students for reference to study for finals. this is the dead day policy that was rucently put into affect by the university.
i have no idea what events you are refering too in your second point unless you mean st pats and then i take great offense. i swear i am drunker than just about all the alumni come wed morning through sunday morning.
the last three, come to the meeting and vioce your conerns during the student issues part of the meeting right after the committee reports. Or go to a say anything table and formally put in your comments to STUCO. STUCO can only change what it knows are problems facing the student body.
