Why would you EVER want to buy something new from GameStop anyway? All they do is wheel-and-deal, and they are worse at it than pawn shops. I go in with the expectation of purchasing something used. If it isn't in stock as used, then I don't buy it. Saves me from this hassle, anyway.

Could be an outlying incident that occurred. I would recommend checking the purchase BEFORE traveling well over 2 hours from the point of purchase. That's just common sense.

This happens all the time in BestBuy. People will want to open a brand new laptop to look at it, then change their mind. Then only to resell it as new, which it is. You can't expect them to sell it at a discount. Next time you plan on spending a ton of money do yourself a favor open it up yourself and give it a once over. One more reason to buy it online. No taxes and no open boxes.

I am really surprised that there hasn't been some sort of federal sales tax instituted on online purchases or something. I am thankful for it, but still...
