I got L4D for $25 a couple months (6 at most) after it came out, on a sale. I know Team Fortress went on sale a few weeks ago for $0.25... Steam's been having crazy sales, I would expect L4D2 would get similar treatment after the new year.

I got the 4 pack ($30 each). DEFINITELY worth it. If you loved L4D you'll come for L4D2. They definitely beefed up quite a few things.

ya, i got the 4 pack as well, split was a little under $35. I like it. the campaigns are definitely a lot different, more interesting, and i think its a little harder as well. Good weapons, a lot of choices.
Single player seems to be worse though, at least to me. I know its a multiplayer game and all mpcs suck, but i would at least like the computer to stay with me like in the first one, and not dick around 2 stories below me while im trying to get stuff to complete the campaign. That is my only complaint, rant done.

The bots suck. They have decent aim, but they're also retarded. At least that was my experience in L4D1. I played the demo for L4D2 and it was... different. I dunno. Doesn't have that gritty feel to it, but maybe that's just me.
