i was wondering if anyone caught this made-for-scifi channel movie starring bruce campbell. my buddy who is a big evil dead/army of darkness fan saw a commercial for in and almost wet his pants. then i actually caught the movie on tv over spring break.....yikes. it's not even worth talking shit about unless someone else saw it. just curious

the thing i love about the movie is how much it just ripped off other movies... like sparticus... "i am the leader!" "no, i am the leader!" and was bruce campbell supposed to be jesus or something? that's really the message i kind of got from the whole thing. nothing beats the dialogue and cinematography though... horrible... i can't even count how many times the shot some lumber falling and then had a zoom in on a guy screaming with his hands in front of his face in order give the effect of him getting crushed by the logs.

i didn't really like bubba hotep, maybe because the preview (which was fucking awesome) made it look like it had a lot more action than the movie actually did. i thought the movie was kind of slow. bruce campbell was amazing in it though, as was the guy who played JFK

I loved Alien Apocalypse.

Bruce Campbell is the friggen' man. Anyone who speaks badly of his movies is a blasphemer.
