Watched the video and was quite unimpressed with the 'walking' system.

Just this even with big robot simply operational! Now presently, the development machine is only the substance, but while being close, robot opposition (the game), in actual ones * & *!
It doesn't look like it could handle anything other than flat concrete without tipping over or getting its feet stuck. I was hoping it would actually be able to "walk," instead of just scooting along. Ah well, still pretty impressive.

I announce that I will build a mech that will run circles around this one within 10 years.
It would be sooner, but I need to graduate, get a job, and aquire enough money to engage in such a project first. I doubt that the average bank will grant a loan to someone so that they can build a mechwarrior or Starwars look-alike machine.

goddamn that is a faggy fucking statement
yeah, a tank would totally own that thing. it looks very top heavy and easy to tip over. i'm not really impressed with vehicles that "walk". rolling and hopefully soon hovering is the way to go!
i dunno... i bet in terms of speed it's somewhere in between a wheelchair and moped. and it's just a little cooler to be seen in than a moped.
did they say it's top speed anywhere? i didn't actually read the article (i didn't like reading the translated japanese and i didn't take the time to learn japanese, so i guess i should not read it instead of complaining)
