has anyone bought the DvD set? was wondering if any of the extra stuff was worth the price, Im bidding on some used ones right now on ebay but will let this other guy outbid me if theres nothing special on them

I have all three and I would say that the extras are worth it I think. Well as long as you arent paying a whole bunch. But when i watch the DVDs i dont do it really to see the episodes as much as I do it to listen to the commentary. They also have all of the shows that you see on the TV in the living room TV. Such as the "Left, Right Show" and "Vegetable Man" and the rest of them as well. Just all in all some funny shit.
I would say as long as you are paying less than 45 for all three, then you are getting a good deal.

The extras are worth the price. I bought all three sets for my younger sister (though I watched them first) a while ago

they are only $25 new in the stores. they are only 2 disc sets each.

and as for the audio commentary, i haven't listened to the s2 commentaries, but season 1 blew. unlike the futurama audio commentary that provides tons of inside information and insight into the writing and creation of the show and each individual episode with commentary from the producers, writers, matt groening, and at least one of the actors, ATHF season1 DVD had audio commentary on TWO episodes, and one of them was just two of the voice actors trying to be funny talking in different voices. you would think that they could offer some more behind the scenes stories on one of the quirkiest shows on television right now. where do they get their ideas? who knows, all i heard was the guy who plays frylock and the guy who plays emory (and brak, space conflict beyond pluto) playing guitar and singing in emory's voice
