Ok, so I'm going to be a bitch here and request that in the unlikely event that you have an indietorrent.com invite, to please send it to me.

I'll even pay you for an invite.

Well considering you were one of the people I was banking on having an invite, I guess we're screwed. Unless somebody wants to come out of the woodwork...

invite only torrent site for independent music. Basically where alot of people that don't want to be a part of the whole .mp3 release group thing release music.

Without radio/MTV/VH1 and the like, it's kinda hard to learn about new music.

MTV hasn't had anything to do with music for years.

Is where I learned about S.o.a.D.'s newest CD.

Plus, I love music videos, so I know which ones to try to find

Hasn't stopped me. I honestly haven't watched MTV or VH1 in over 2 or so years. I do however, listen to the radio every now and then, but rarely is it ever a frequency over 90.0.

I figured instead of bitching about MTV like most people, I would stop watching it. The internet is a far better and more reliable source for new music than MTV ever was.

No, I'm not kidding.

If you watch an hour of MTV at night (once all the shitty shows are done), you will see videos, and 1 out of ever 10 or so is something that I like (NOT hip-hop or rap). Is how I learned about S.o.a.D.'s latest album, as I already said.

With VH1, they usually show videos after they come out, and what's good about them is that they don't usually play the rap/hip hop shit that irks me.

I like music videos. I really wish we had Fuse, or TMF, or some channel like that. Until we get those, I have to use what I can.

I don't have a radio in my room, and refuse to listen to internet radio because I already have a large collection of music to listen to. My way of learning about new bands/bands new works, is by word of mouth or TV.

I have to disagree. They've had a very helpful hand in the destruction of worthwhile music.

I have Fuse at home, and they used to be good, now, for the most part, they're the emo version of MTV with some rap thrown in there. Every once and awhile they play something good.

I have satellite radio in my car and hear new music all the time from that.
