And please don't say Seek 42. I actually want to get the CD because it comes with a DVD and I feel like owning the actuall disk and whatnot. I just want to know where the best place to buy CDs is.

I looked up Sam Goody and its only about 2 miles away from TJ which is isn't a problem for me(I am walking by the way). Close is preferable so I don't have to steal a car.

I thought about ordering it off the internet and making it easy, but I want it tomorrow because I am weird like that.

Thanks ahead of time for the help. Oh and just wondering, but are Sam Goody's prices really high?

Sam Goody's prices are always high. What album by the way?

They aren't -that- bad, but since they are pretty much it (you always have Wal-Mart/K-Mart) when it comes to those harder to find releases

I doubt any other places around town would have it. Never know, but unless it's something that's commercially hot, chances of finding it is quite slim

Well I am not a big fan of walmart so that is kindof ruled out. The band is pretty popular(this is their 7th album since mid 90s) but the are more "the in thing" up in canada. Walmart will probably carry it, but I don't trust walmart to care enough to get this praticular cd(espcially the double disk version) on the day it comes out.

And technically I am not suppose to shop at walmart because I am in a Union, and they frown heavily appon that. Not that I really care, because most of the people I work with barely make enough to afford walmart as it is.

If you're walking, I hope you plan on calling the place to check first.

HA. Fuck unions. I worked at a grocery store and was union, and they kept preaching to us to not buy anything at Wal-Mart and Target, even though Wally World and Target are always cheaper. And eventually I was like, fuck you, my job sucks, and quit, and then ended up getting a job at Target. The union loved that. Only thing they ever did was take 15 bucks out of every paycheck.

Anyways, back on topic, Sam Goody is your best bet. Wal-Mart has a slim selection of CDs, and all of their CDs are censored (but they sell guns, as if they're any more child-friendly  )

BTW, whoever said Sam Goody's prices are high is correct. They're almost always expensive for older CDs. But, every time I've bought a new release there, it's been on sale and in line with all of the other stores. My guess is it will be no more than 15 bucks.

Get the Sam Goody's membership card. If you are planning to buy more than one CD or such this year, it's totally worth it.

The card really is worth it. Even moreso if you actually plan to buy something on a regular basis. But ya, they have all of the older, harder to find things, as well as box sets and all that jazz. They might be a bit more than Wal-Mart or Target or whatever (Target does sell uncensored CDs, by the way), but not by much. Have never paid more than $15 for a CD, including special CDs, like Korn's Greatest Hits (Volume 1) that has a bonus DVD with it. They also usually have sales on other items. Bought a spiffy controller for my computer, got it for $15 when it usually sold for $30.

They also have books, which is what I liked the most.

Well that was a nice walk(about 4 miles roung trip, and 10th street isnt exactly flat either). The total came to 15.06 after tax. And like I said it was a dual disc(Cd on one side, bonus DVD on the other) so I don't think that was bad at all.

I did not however sign up for the membership because I don't really plan on buying any more CDs anytime soon. The last CD i bought was probably at least a year and a half ago. Usually if I feel like being legit I buy off iTunes. I vary rarely listen to the actual disk, I don't even own a portable CD player. I only bought this CD because they have been my favorite band since pretty much forever and I like to say I own all the albums.

No more Kmart, Walmart closed them down end of last year.
