Ok, since I haven't seen much on the forums recently that interests me (besides gas prices and hurricane Katrina), I have decided to start up something that hopefully everyone will have an opinion on. I thought about starting a "let's play a game" thread or a thread on girls. However, we all know that those can get way out of hand. So I thought we could post our top 10 favorite movies. I know we usually do this at least once a year but I don't remember doing it in quite some time (forgive me if I'm wrong on that). So feel free to post your list or criticize other lists. Here are mine in no particular order.

1. The Matrix (all were good but the first was the best)
2. Star Wars (again, all were good but Episode 4 was my favorite)
3. Schindler's List
4. Seven
5. Braveheart
6. Forrest Gump
7. American History X
8. Fight Club
9. Memento
10. Gladiator (there is a new extended edition out that I would definitely recommend)

I'm gonna go with Comedy (in no particular order):

1. Friday
2. Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood
3. Team America: World Police
4. Dodgeball (but only because I met Rip Torn this summer)
5. Wedding Crashers (haven't seen it, but everyone else loves it, and I can't think for myself)
6. Starship Troopers (not supposed to be comedy, but SHIT it's funny!)

Well, I guess I can only think of six off the top of my head, and I'm too lazy to look up any more... that's all, peace out.

1.Tron
2.Top Gun
3.Garden State
4.Last Samurai
5.Hackers

And since I am way to picky with my movies I am just going to leave it at 5.

As for your list, I think FightClub is overrated. Matrix really wasn't that good. But Mento is an excellent movie.

You want to criticize others' lists when you have "Hackers" on yours?

Cool Hand Luke rocks

And its favorite movie, not best movie. So although Hackers is hardly a movie of any merit to most people it is still one of my favorite movies of all time. It seemed much cooler when it came out and I was younger, but I still think it is awesome. Same with Tron.

Wow, I gotta hand it to you, it takes some balls to put Aladdin on your list. It is certainly my favorite animated film but I obviously don't have the balls to put it on my top ten.

Also, I forgot all about Shawshank Redemption but I'm not sure if there is a movie on my list that I would remove for it.
