Well, I did a search for Firefly and came up with nothing on seek so I thought I would post something and let you all know about this wonderful TV series, soon to become movie. I'd give a whole speach about it, but instead I'll just give you a link and you can learn about it yourselves! All you need to know is that it is a spreading sci-fi name with a great story and cast.

I know they are making the TV series (debuted last Friday, didn't it?). The movie, I don't think is based on the show

Scifi is actually just reshowing the old episodes, as Joss Whedon has said he doesn't really want to make new episodes since he is making a movie about it.

Funny how the show is called Firefly....

....whereas the movie is called Serenity.

Serenity is the name of the ship, firefly is the ship model name. The movie is directly based off of the show.

The movie is based on the show. It has most of the same actors in it. The TV show is also out on DVD.

...I guess it helps if you search for "firefly" and not "serenity." I feel stupid now. :oops:
