Must not be very sensative mines. Most likely anti-personel rather than anti-tank but it still doesn't take much pressure to set some of them off. They must be fairly deep (relatively speaking). Better hope they don't have prongs sticking up out of the ground. Penguin touches one of those things and there's going to be shredded penguin.

Oh great, next thing PETA and ALF and ELF will be buying up land mines on the black market and using them to "protect" environmental "preserves" that they deem necessary.

Except they'll probably screw up and blow themselves up, or all the deer, wolves, panthers, environmentalists and every other animal over 20 lbs that walks in the woods.

Would that be entirely a bad thing? If they're extremist enough to use explosives, I must say I wouldn't shed a tear if thier plans backfired.
