I want to go see it badly... but it's not in forum

all you gun people might enjoy the website, it has a flash game where you have to identify guns.

sucks, saw it last week. it says true story at the very end so the movie is paced weird around some of the stories this guy must have told some people.

stuff i've read of various websites, yuri orlov is a composite of 5 different gun runners, the movie was financed by overseas movie companies, real tanks and 3000 real guns, which the gun runners provided, were used in filming because they were cheaper than prop guns. the gun runners wanted this movie made... which i have to say is the best way to get across their pov.

*SPOILER*

i'd say it definately deserves the 7.4/10 on imdb, i'd probably give it an 8 or a 9. the movie is worth seeing just for the ending two lines (and his ending speech) alone, although i would've said 'biggest dealers of landmines and guns' among other things. there is a bigger and better point to be made though, he kept trading guns, chosing not not to morally confront his conscience instead of stopping and asking forgiveness of his hot trophy wife, wtf is the world coming to. that hot a wife, with perks on tips he goes to isn't enough. he could've stopped for his kid too... it was a disappointment, because he didn't stop gun running. that alone doesn't make it a bad movie by a long shot.

it's funny how japan is left out since it isn't allowed a standing army. they'd buy and make a shitload of weapons if they were allowed an army, their economy could make a leap...

the story does jump, but is more than coherent enough, i didn't have problems following it. this is the exact opposite of the interpreter, if anyone saw that.

sullivan is 40 miles away, waynesville is 30...

I saw this and have to agreed with you. I'd give it like an 8 and I didn't think it was hard to follow at all. It was a little weird, but that is what I expected. I think it's worth seeing. Good acting, especially by Cage.
