No, not really. I mean, I do know that they house nukes in random places in the middle of the country, but the citizens aren't in control of them. I find it one of those instances where the writers are trying to be funny and banking on the average reading being a complete and utter ignoramus.

Even for satire, which I knew it was (the whole Onion.com part gave it away), but really, it's not funny in the least, even as a satire.

Though, I know some really....slow and trusting people who I bet this article would scare the shit out of.
