Eh...I'd more say Iran. The sad part is Saudi Arabia has similar things they say and theyre supposed to be our ally. This is just what most of the Arab world is though. They sit and rally to "death to..." and will continue this way untill someone hits em upside the head and makes them finally come to their senses (i give it a couple hundred years).

You know, I don't get it. Why, American administrations would never make statements like that.
Golly, especially after we spent all that effort and time supporting a brutal dictator in Iran: training his secret police, providing him with sophisticated weapons... you know, it's suprizing Iran's oppressed people hate us.
A people that strived for change so hard they traded one horrible government for another: theocracy. Theocracy that feels threatened simply by the existence of democratic states and can utilize said hatred to fuel war against us and our friends in the Middle East (Israel, the Saudi government {yeah, we lost the people some time ago}, etc.).
Theocracy that can easily discount the good the West has to offer when we foolishly label countries as being part of the "Axis of Evil".
Hm.

The entire Middle East should be turned into a glass factory.
That being said, I see no problem with Israel shooting rockets into Gaza when the Palestinians continue to use suicide bombers against them. The Arabs should have learned not to screw with Israel after continually having their butts kicked by some pissed off Jews.
Well, I think Saudi Arabia should be wiped off the map. So I guess we're even.
Why?
I believe that much of the Islamofacistic terrorism is financed by the Saudi royal family. I don't think it's a coincidence that a majority of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi.

Eh, I'm afraid I don't understand. Why would the Saudi government provoke militant Islamic groups? Those groups want to tear down the house of Saud, which remains in power through U.S. backing.
In fact, Bin Laden and all his ex-MAK buddies would love to see the downfall of the Saudi government, a pinnacle of Western influence in the Middle East. The Saudi government realizes this: they have revoked Bin Laden's citizenship, frozen his assets, etc. because of his support for the fundamentalists.

Heh; I think you're kidding too, but either way - this is exactly the attitude that perpetuates this terrible conflict.

No, I wasn't kidding. The Muslims hate Israel just because it exists. The PLO (or whatever it is calling itself these days) and Hamas are terrorist organizations that continue to try to destroy the Israeli state for no real purpose other than anti-semitism. They claim to want a separate Palestinian state, but why do they need one? They are surrounded by Muslim countries.
I don't see the need for a Palestinian state, but if they can work it out peacefully, then I will support it. They have the same right to Self-Determination as anyone else. They also have the responsibility to do so as peacefully as possible. I don't have all the answers, but if both sides stop killing each other, that would be a good start to peace in the Middle East.

Why don't they just make the West Bank and Gaza Strip neutral public land, like a public park. No one needs to own it. Let everyone enjoy it. Would that be too intelligent?

What are you meaning by from? I have seen several reports that the leader, Mohamed Atta, was from Yemen. And the reason I asked is because I had only ever heard,
Quote:
Most of the hijackers where from Saudi Arabia.
I hadn't heard any numbers or anything...
