Entire Family Beats Child - St. Louis Post-Dispatch
St. Louis,Mo - A seven-year-old boy was at the center of a St. Louis County courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, and in keeping with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible.
The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him.
After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the St. Louis Blues hockey team, whom the boy firmly believes are not currently capable of beating anyone.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that was originally made up about the Cleveland Spiders in like 1899 or something. When the owner of the Spiders bought the St. Louis Browns and decided that since the Browns got better attendance, all of the good players from both teams should be on the Browns. The Spiders were left with the worst team to ever play baseball, going 20-134 that year. They were contracted out of the league shortly afterwards.

but if the kids tellin the truth, thats a crazy family.

did they absolutely prove he has no family left? i donno it seems hard to beleive that every family member beats this kid...but i guess there are some families out there that are that disfunctional. and if so something needs to be done to ensure that the family is punished for their horrible actions because beating a child is not cool.
(i ment nothing offensive towards the kid or the case...i just cant beleive he has no family members that dont harm him.)
