I dont think he'll get any money from it. You cant just sue a company every time you get a defective product. Thats what waranties are for. Anyone who has the 360 here seeing any of these problems?

Well, there is nothing wrong with trying. The case seems to be about forcing a recall, which is certainly within the realm of legal possibility. It sounds like a pretty weak case from the description, but thats ok. If the complaint is not valid, then microsoft will win.

there was an artical on slashdot talking about the xbox 360 and it's "heating issues", this is a result of a poorly designed/implemented power supply. Although this is poor business practice, I dont think the lawsuit is necesary but none the less I agree with gil-galad. There's nothing wrong with trying.

I've heard they aren't very backwards compatable either. Bunch of people are having problems with even recent xbox games locking up or framerates jumping around - except for halo2 of course.

Mine freezes up a lot when I'm loading an online game of Project Gotham, which is annoying as fuck because a disconnect drops your rank as much as getting last place.

No problems here at all. The system is LOUD, but I've had no problems or bugs to speak of (knock on wood).

All the while, Bill Gates is laughing while playing his Xbox 720.
