There has been alot of talk about places to eat in Rolla on the forums and I was wondering where do you guys like to eat? With the two new buildings opening up, kymitos(sp?), the new McDonalds on V highway (yes there is one opening up soon), and even the upcoming remodeling of Wendy's and the Old McDonalds, it would be interesting to see what you guys like in Rolla.
Also if the is anything you guy would like to see in a resturant, like web access or something this could be your time to put your input.
Damnit, Alex's should have been it's own choice, because I would have voted for that. But anyway, Hardee's is unbeatable with the whole "Free fries and drink with the purchase of a burger" thing. It comes out to be anywhere from a 25%-40% discount depending on what burger you get. Great deal.
Just tried Kyoto on Friday. The food was good, but the service sucked. It took a while to get our food (which is what you would expect from a restraunt that opened just a few days earlier).

There are only two places that I eat out at: places that specialize in fried chicken (Lee's and KFC if it had a full menu), and good, cheap Italian resturants (think Fazoli's).
So the answer is: unless I want fried chicken, nowhere.

There's a place by me on 72 (by Fidelity Comm) called DaVinci's. It's decent Italian at a good price. Has 2 for 1 entree's for one entree every day. Just find what entree you like and go on those days.
I eat at Applebees (after 9:00 1/2 price appetizers), Hardees (student discount) and domino's every so often.

The KFC in town sucks. Every time I've been there it's been horrible service, burnt chicken, and watered-down gravy.
Anyway, the spicy chicken sandwhich at Wendy's is always good, and I've recently re-discovered my love for grease with Long John Silvers. El Rodeo is good, too.

I second that. $3.43 for a #2 Thickburger combo with fries and a drink. Hard to beat that price, if you get the #1 it is below $3.00. For an entire meal you don't have to cook. Plus, IMO, Hardee's burgers are some of the best you can find in fast food (out of what is available in Rolla anyway).

the same guy that owns da vinci's owns ground round and that steak house off forum drive and old st. james road. I know people that work and all three and there are some pretty attractive girls there that i think are worth the prices.
