hokay, so I'm working on something for my apartment, but I dont have the space/room/tools necesary here to do all the wood working. Is there a shop on campus where I can use their facilities (table saw, drill press etc etc) ?

I have seen equipment like that on the ground floor of the HSS building in the large room with double doors (and no windows). I’m not sure if students can use it or not, but it is a start…

Actually, the formula shop in ME has a radial arm saw, jigsaw, etc. Not the best equipment, but if you talk to the guys in the formula office (over by the restroom at the base of the stairs) they'd likely be glad to help.
I agree with LostBoyz, the basement of the BE building is the way to go. They let me use that place for personal use, just give the guy a call (he used to be in the blue key) and set up an appointment or ask when you can come by. He might supervise, he watched me to 2 minutes to make sure I wasn't being retarded, then left me alone.
