so it seems to me that the general consensus is that most people will show up for free stuff, some actually looking for laptop information, and most would want to see other hardware, primarily for desktop pc's. I used to use a laptop as my primary computer, but have since gotten rid of it, so i'll go for laptops just to see what they have to offer. However, not everybody is in the market for a laptop and the majority would probably rather see desktop components.

ASUS will be sending a Notebook Rep and another Rep.
Since the notebook dept. is the only solitaire dept., the other guy will know EVERYTHING else... crazy eh?
Thanks to everyone who voted!
ASUS and I will be doing all the hard work now.
Expect updates soon...
If it still helps, I'd go and I would like to see pc components as well. My brother would come too since he is an avid Asus user but alas, he lives in Wichita.

if they do come, hopefully they'll bring an A8R32-MVP Deluxe motherboard. I just read a review of it and its a really good ATI based board.
We're working with them to build an AMD/nVidia gaming rig...
They may be able to bring down demo components to look at, but not all of them will hooked up.
The stuff they're bringing for sure: Notebooks, PDA's, and LCD's.
What componets they bring is to be determined...

I'd come by, especially if I have a chance of winning a laptop or something . I might buy a laptop within the next year or so and I realize how bad Dell is. IBM Thinkpad seems to be good, but I've heard good things about the laptops you sell as well, c9.

Thanks for the comments guys!
There will be some sort of contest for sure, but probably not a notebook given away.
We'll see what ASUS is willing to part with... C9tech will be giving away plenty of cool promo schwag, and whatever else ASUS wants to bring to the show.
There will be plenty of marketing going around campus to remind everyone of the show, but please mark your calendars so you don't forget!
And of course tell your friends!
This will be an all day event on April 27th at Havener in the Turner Room [same room as XBOX event last week].
