Oh yes, I do feel SO terrible for that poor country. The white devils really are holding them back aren't we? What a better off place Africa would be without white people.

i think that it is good that they are trying to become independt of others. They shouldve just had the white people teach them how to farm, wouldve been a much better transition.

I do agree that in some cases white people are causing a lot of problems, especially with the diamonds, but I am not talking about that. My issue is with zimbabwe or some of the other countries in africa who do similar stuff (though it generally doesn't bite them back as hard is this did).

The sad thing is that you're not kidding here... you realize that the point here is that they are an absolutely poor country, right? There are two things this is saying. One, that bread is an exhorbitant amount in Zimbabwe. Two, their money is worth nothing compared to ours.

You don't truely understand the wealth of the land till you look at the actual stuff - not the people. Africa is IMMENSELY wealthy VALUE wise, but unbelievably POOR because of where that money is concentrated.

For diamonds, the companies that deal with DeBeers (or the company itself) own the mines and give nothing to the people. They work under horrible conditions and for next to nothing. The farming situation was similar; white land owners screwing over the black works.

Hey, I'm not saying its a great idea to screw over alot of the populace, but is it right for these white land owners that have been using them as slaves for hundreds of years? Don't even try to sugar coat it - it WAS slavery. Is it right to just take it all away? I don't think so, yet they only have that land because their grandparents stole it all.

So tell me what your solution is?

Also, stop people like Greenpeace from blocking UN donations of GE crops to Africa - its led to the starvation of many people because of lies told by the group.

It doesn't matter. Donated anything to Africa usually winds up in the hands of warlords or corrupt governments.

Anyone want to try and pick any part of the planet that wasn't stolen from someone at some point? Might makes right.

I'm all for slavery the way I see if you take all the poor people all the homeless all the imprisoned and all the people you generally dont' wanna look at, Give them a job and in turn they get food water clothes a place to sleep and everything else they need to live. yeah, if i didnt have a chance, i could see giving up my freedom for a small amount of food. WTF DUDE. Yeah, if you give me a grain of rice, i will work for 20hours, and kill myself. That sounds like a fair deal. Slavery is a horrible idea. You cant take away a mans freedom. I would rather be living on a street, than working 20hours a day for nothing. Slavery is a bad idea. Trying to repress people will only lead to something bad.
