I'm looking to create a wordpress blog on my afs account... I'm having problems with it finding my db.. i've tried running one on my computer, running one on a friends domain.. but I always get this when I try to run the install.php:

here's a pic of my config on my friends domain (which is where I would prefer the db be, since I shut my computer down at night)

any help would be appreciated.

I'm going to refer you to this thread from earlier this year: http://r01ajrhc8.desktop.umr.edu:8080/p ... highlight=
and hope that it answers any questions you have.
And just looking at it, your biggest problem seems to be that the script doesnt look like it actually ran, possibly because you are just trying to look at the script in a webbrowser without actually running it off of the gpunix servers.

Might want to remove or blur out parts on the second image. Namely the part that has your username, password, and domain that contains the database.
