How does 5:00pm Thursday sound to everyone?

If we get enough players on we can play some CTF or something.

You'll need OSP and the latest Quake 3 point release (1.32). Should be able to find both on seek if you don't have them.

Paste in q3 console (~) to connect:

/connect 131.151.151.5:27960

Who's in (for real) this time?

Smith, do you have 1.32 and OSP installed?

OSP has been discontinued, yes, but it is still alive in the hearts of q3 players!

\\131.151.157.64\games\quake 3

All patches you need are there. Install point release 1.32 after installing quake 3, then extract the OSP archive so that you have the folder

\...\Quake III Arena\osp\

Then you're good to go. The mod will load automatically when you connect to the server. You'll probably have to redo your controls unless you play with defaults for some reason. :)

Edit:

Btw, is anyone going to show up or am I just scheduling my time to run around on the server by myself?

Someone just tried to connect to the server named "Dr. No" and got disconnected...I'm guessing because of autodownload. I had a custom map on there (CTF map) I was running around on.

In console:
