ATF arrests college student for his choice in clothing.

Quote:
Jeremiah Ransom, a sophomore from Macon, was leaving a Wesley Foundation pirate vs. ninja event when he was detained.

He was "detained" by having his face smashed into the ground by the knee fo a federal agent. Sounds pleasant? Why was he "detained?"

Quote:
“Seeing someone with something across the face, from a federal standpoint — that’s not right,” McLemore said

Apparently there's a federal dress code now.

that pic is just funny, completely unecessary way to hold someone down.

I want to know why the ATF was there in the first place, let alone why they were using that much force.

That's exactly how they were trained to hold people down because you can tell that's a hard pin to get out of. Before calling "excessive force", we should at least know why the ATF wanted to pin the guy. Get real, the ATF doesn't just run around and pin every ninja they find. There has to be some reason for all of this.

They only pin ninjas they see running. Ninjas run after the cause mayhem, otherwise, they walk slowly and gently.

ok maybe that is how they train them to pin people, but cmon its a kid who isnt resisting, if he isnt handcuffed already hes just sitting there with his hands behind his back. a 250lb-ish guy with with his knee placed on the back of someones neck is excessive, by all means

If they saw him running after causing mayhem, hes obviously not a ninja. A real ninja wouldn't have been seen.

Maybe he was resisiting earlier. If he resists at any time during the encounter, they are trained to put their knee on him until his is basically in jail because he has already demonstrated resistence. If he isn't handcuffed, that is a perfect reason to put 2 or 3 knees on him. An officer's first goal is to secure the subject (handcuff him) during an altercation. After that is when the searching begins. For all we know, the ninja's hands are just laying on his back and there is a gun hidden below in his belt. Cops like to go home at night and that knee trick sure helps.

The article said he ran from the cops, which isn't a good idea.

I think the article said that there was a siren and then he took off running. That is totally different than running from the cops....

Article wrote:
Agents noticed Ransom peering around a corner and said when police sirens sounded, he took off running.

So he was running around the time sirens sounded... PUT HIM TO DEATH

They aren't putting him to death. They just wanted to talk to him. The police are going to catch you, it's your choice if you want to be caught the easy way or the hard way. This guy chose the hard way.

If that's how police talk to people, no wonder he was running away.

So if you are out jogging, they can body slam you, and you will say, "It's okay, I was resisting arrest...."

cough BULLSHIT cough

They NEVER said he was running FROM the cops. They said a siren sounded, and he took off. Meaning, they over-fucking-reacted, and now they are trying to cover their ass.
